Christmas Solidarity in Figueras 2021
Once again, and following the success from previous years, GONDAN Shipbuilders’ workers council carried out a Christmas lottery sale campaign that included an economic donation.
For this occasion, the workers and subcontractors, together with GONDAN colaboration, have donated the amount collected by distributing it among the entities Fraternidad and Fundación Edes (2.000 euro each), as well as 905 euros dedicated to the collection of basic necessities promoted by the Castropol City Council.
Fraternidad is a non-profit association that provides full care to people with intellectual disabilities over 16 years of age, while the Edes Foundation is also a non-profit organization that works in the rural area of northwestern Asturias and Galicia since 1999, offering specialized services and support that guarantee the exercise of rights, access to resources and social inclusion of each person with disabilities in rural areas.
