BFRIDTJOF NANSEN WORKBOAT
Designed and built to be fitted on the Norwegian research vessel “Dr Fridtjof Nansen”, this
oceanographic workboat is used for short missions in the vicinity of the research vessel and for personnel
transportation to/from the vessel in harbor areas. Thanks to its excellent reliability, maneuverability
and sea keeping abilities in heavy sea, this multipurpose workboat can perform several roles such
as dive support, inspection, survey and crew transfer in a effective and safe way, with sufficient
range and long-time operation to operate away from the mother ship for extended time periods.
Type: Oceanographic research workboat - Hull material: GRP - Owner: Havforskningsinstituttet (Norway)
C470 / C471
The first vessels of their kind ever built in Spain, these two SOVs will function as mother ships for
wind turbine technicians, as they perform maintenance work at offshore wind farms on the North
Sea. To grant the safety of technicians during transfer operations, both vessels are equipped with
cutting edge technology such as an UPTIME 23 m length heave compensated “walk-to-work”
gangway, a cutting edge 3D compensated crane and a CTV landing system with bunkering facility.

CORRADO NERI / CONSTANTE NERI
Together with her sister vessel Constante Neri, Corrado Neri is the first ASD tug of this size to be equipped
with FiFi II equipment. In addition to an impressive 110 ton bollard pull performance, Corrado Neri is also
a highly maneuverable vessel, thanks to two Schottel azimuth thrusters. Designed to guide gas carriers
at FRSUs, she was built to provide maximum efficiency in escort operations and mooring services.

DR FRIDTJOF NANSEN
Dr Fridtjof Nansen is a supersilent scientific research platform whose propulsion configuration, laboratory
and working deck layout are purposely designed and built to comply with ICES CRR 209 -the most restrictive
standard for vessel underwater noise control. Thanks to its wide range of cranes, winches and miscellaneous
deck equipment, Fridtjof Nansen can conduct complex, multidisciplinary, multi-investigator research both
through direct observation as well as through the deployment of autonomous vehicles and installations.

ECO AQUA
Connecting the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Formentera, Eco Aqua is a 28 m length ferry
ready to carry up to 350 passengers. Stable and maneuverable even at its maximum speed
of 28 knots, Eco Aqua has been built with a specially optimized hull, equipped with side
conducts in order to displace water from the waves during navigation, reducing sea-sickness,
lessening vertical acceleration and increasing the comfort of passengers and the crew.
In addition, this eco fast ferry has been designed focusing on eco-efficiency, incorporating
photovoltaic solar panels which supply up to 8 Kw of the necessary energy for onboard services.

EDDA FERD
Among the most innovative PSVs in the world, Edda Fram (2007), Edda Frende (2009) and Edda Ferd (2013)
were the first PSVs built with Voith-Schneider propellers that could serve both as main propulsion and antirolling
system. In addition, they were the first ones to be equipped with a Rim-Driven technology tunnel
thruster with super-silent capabilities. Improving the efficiency of its sister vessels and becoming the most
environmentally friendly PSV in the world in 2013 according to OSJ, Edda Ferd is also the first vessel to be
equipped with Siemens Bluedrive PlusC diesel-electric propulsion system. This cutting edge technology provides
independent speed control of each engine, reducing fuel consumption and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions.

EDDA MISTRAL
The first vessels of their kind ever built in Spain, these SOVs are functioning as mother ships for wind turbine
technicians, as they perform maintenance work at offshore wind farms on the North Sea. To grant the safety
of technicians during transfer operations, these vessels are equipped with cutting edge technology such as
an UPTIME 23 m length heave compensated “walk-to-work” gangway, a cutting edge 3D compensated crane
and a CTV landing system with bunkering facility. Aligned with the environmentally friendly mindset of the
offshore wind industry, the consumption and efficiency of Edda Passat and Edda Mistral are greatly improved
thanks to their variable rpm control system which enables the generators to run at their optimal speed.
