Stril Luna, the most outstanding vessel of 2014

Visitors to the website www.ingenierosnavales.com have rewarded the Stril Luna, PSV, built by Astilleros Gondán for the Norwegian shipowner Simon Møkster Shipping, as the most outstanding vessel built in 2014 in Spain.
With this prize, awarded to both the shipyard and the ship-owner, the Association of Naval Engineers aim to recognize the Spanish shipbuilding. Several vessels built in Spain without any restriction have participated in the contest. The decision was made by popular vote, which took place between February 16th and June 30th of this year.
The award for the “Most Outstanding Vessel of 2014” will be presented during the celebration of the 54th Congress of Naval Engineering and Maritime Industry, to be held from 14th to 16th October in Ferrol.
It should be pointed out that the Stril Luna was the first vessel in the world equipped with the innovative unified bridge solution by Rolls Royce Marine.
