Solidarity Christmas at GONDAN
Once again, coinciding with the Christmas season, GONDAN Shipbuilders and the Works Council have thrown themselves into a solidarity initiative aimed at supporting organizations that carry out essential social work in the region.
Following the success of previous years, the works council has carried out a Christmas lottery ticket sales campaign that includes a financial donation. On this occasion, the shipyard workers and their subcontractors, with the collaboration of the company itself, have contributed to raising funds that will go to three local organizations.
In total, donations amounted to 5,300 €, distributed among the EDES Foundation (2,000€), the Castropol Food Bank (1,300€), and the Fraternidad Association (2,000€).
With this gesture, GONDÁN and the staff representatives reaffirm their commitment to the local community, supporting initiatives that have a direct impact on it.
