This new CSOV (Commissioning Service Operation Vessel) has capacity for up to 120 POB and is fitted with a fully
electric 3D crane and an integrated W2W system, composed by a motion compensated gangway and an elevator
with capacity for 26 technicians. Designed to become one of the world’s most environmentally friendly vessels of its
kind, it is equipped with a truly innovative propulsion system: Two cycloidal propellers driven by permanent magnet
electromotors. These “eVSP” propellers are powered by a “Hydrogen-Ready” diesel-electric power system, backed by
two independent battery banks, and conceived with the ambitious target to operate with zero carbon emissions in
the future.
