GONDAN Shipbuilders hosts SEUS workshop with two technical days and factory visits.

On the occasion of the SEUS workshop, on November 5 and 6, GONDAN Shipbuilders hosted a program of workshops and technical sessions. Representatives from the SEUS consortium participated, including NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), Cadmatic, CONTACT Software, SARC BV, (UTU) University of Turku, NHL (Stenden University of Applied Sciences), and Ulstein Group.

The program included meetings and workshops on digitization, data continuity, and its integration into shipbuilding processes. As part of the agenda, tours were conducted of our facilities in the Barres industrial park and our Fiber Division to learn about manufacturing flows, quality control, and operational safety. At our steel division, they were able to board the C-505 “Pole Star,” a vessel that GONDAN is building for the Northern Lighthouse Board of Scotland.

GONDAN thanks the project partners for their participation and reaffirms its commitment to applied innovation and European collaboration to promote more efficient and competitive shipbuilding.
