GONDAN participates in WATTS UP 2026
GONDAN Shipbuilders participated in WATTS UP 2026 (Palma de Mallorca), one of the leading international events focused on batteries and maritime electrification. During the event, our sales manager Luis Mourelle took part alongside Rui Rei (TTSL – Transtejo Soflusa) and Alejandro Zorzo (ABB Marine & Ports) in a panel discussion highlighting the development of our fleet of 10 fully electric passenger catamarans built for the Portuguese company Transtejo Soflusa, a significant step towards accelerating the decarbonisation of river transport in the Tagus estuary and moving towards more efficient operations.
The project represents a key advance in the creation of a fully electric fleet designed to operate in demanding daily conditions, with optimised energy architecture and systems integration aimed at ensuring reliability, safety and operational continuity. GONDAN’s presence at this forum reinforces its commitment to applicable technological solutions capable of translating into concrete benefits and measurable results.
We would like to thank the Maritime Battery Forum for organising this forum, which once again brings the industry together to promote solutions with immediate impact.
