GONDAN participates in SEUS project
GONDAN Shipbuilders have recently attended in Ålesund and Ulsteinvik, Norway, the first workshop from SEUS PROJECT: Smart European Shipbuilding Project, which aims to create a comprehensive Smart Shipbuilding Framework for European shipyards, by developing an integrated platform that combines CAE, CAD, CAM, and PDM software, which is then tested and implemented in shipyards. The goal is to enhance operational efficiency and streamline shipbuilding processes.
The workshop showcased an array of presentations by partner organizations and included a visit to a Ulstein shipyard’s facilities. Diverse topics were covered, including the digital transformation of the maritime sector, data models pertaining to maritime structures, inventive shipbuilding practices, and emerging trends in technology.
GONDAN shared their extensive experience in building sophisticated innovative vessels in an that event proved to be an invaluable platform for stakeholders to engage in meaningful conversations regarding the future trajectory of the European shipbuilding industry, while also fostering exploration of potential collaborative ventures.
