GONDAN, Internationalization Award at the IDEPA Business Promotion Awards 2021
In 2021, IDEPA awarded its Business Promotion Awards to three companies based in the Principality: Excade (Innovation), Astilleros GONDÁN (Internationalization), and PMG Asturias Powder Metal (Business Growth). These awards seek to recognize and promote business initiatives linked to the promotion of innovation, internationalization, and growth.
In the case of Astilleros GONDAN, the jury awarded the Internationalization Award, highlighting the shipyard’s high technological level, which allows it to compete and position itself as a benchmark in a highly demanding international market. Likewise, the high number of exports recorded in recent years and the leadership of a company that, from its location in Asturias, constitutes an industrial and productive hub of great relevance for the region, were also highlighted.
In this regard, IDEPA points out the shipyard’s contribution to the international projection of the “Asturias brand,” associated with the quality and competitiveness of capital goods manufactured in the region.
