GONDAN delivers the CSOV Sudri Enabler
GONDAN Shipbuilders yesterday delivered the Sudri Enabler, the fourth of six Commissioning Service Operation Vessels for Edda Wind. The vessel will commence operation with a major international EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) contractor carrying out support tasks for the installation of a submarine cable, which will bring clean, renewable energy to thousands of homes in Northern Europe.
The vessel, designed by Salt Ship Design, with a length of 88.3 m and a beam of 19.7 m, is equipped with zero-emission technology. It accommodates 120 people – 97 technicians and 23 crew members. It has the most modern and automated equipment, including a 3D offset offshore crane, an offset offshore gangway with a 30m outreach, a 26-person capacity integrated lift and a 21-metre helipad. It is the first of two vessels of this type that the shipyard will deliver this year.
GONDAN consolidates its position as a leader in the construction of specialised vessels for the offshore renewable energy sector. With expanded facilities and growing production capacity, the shipyard is ready to meet market demands and continue its tradition of delivering reliable and innovative vessels.
